Decorative elements can be incorporated:- Quoins - usually bought as stone, they can also be built using brick.
- Plinth - incorporate a brick or stone plinth with a render finish.
- Band - a band of raised render can be brought around the house - an alternative to bell bead for splitting up large areas of render
