Stone walling can look good but it is expensive to do - in materials and labour.
| Bluestone wall (not complete). The construction detail can be seen here - to provide the thickness of wall required (a small retaining wall), the wall was initially constructed using concrete blocks and the outer leaf using bluestone. |

A cheaper alternative is to have a stone effect pressed into a cement/concrete finish on walls and driveways.
